I just can’t believe how terrible this team has been at scoring runs when they’re all set up. You can’t ask for a better situation there with the right people coming up. That is a huge potential game costing choke job right there. Momentum back to yankees and the RISP issues continue.

Move him to the bench. Diaz has more experience. Yordan is not handling this well and the longer you wait, the more opportunities these guys squander.

Game should be 4-1. Petis made a mistake, he’s got to think ahead. If the top 4 were on deck, sure hold him. But, we in the bottom of the lineup and Judge was traveling lateral, not downhill to the plate. These are all things he’s gotta consider. Send the runner

We'd need Diaz to play the field and be available since he's the backup infielder. They'd need to play him in LF and DH Brantley.

If you have Diaz at DH then you have zero backup IF if something happens.
The roster is poorly constructed for anyone but Yordan to DH.
