I mean do you know this for a fact? The agent has just as much of a reason to push an agenda as the Hornets do. ETA: The "permanently damage his career" argument is retarded. If they indeed did "frick him over" and he's not actually hurt, every one else obviously fricking knows this.

While I think the Hornets are a clusterfrick and don't deserve ANY benefit of the doubt, has anyone considered the fact that:
Luther Head failed his physical and his Agent is trying to deflect?

I don't know it for a fact, but I do know for a fact the shitty ownership and management the Hornets have and their history.
If they made up some reason to fail him on his physical than it will definitely hurt him in trying to land another contract and how much he'll get. Teams will now use that as leverage in contract negotiations.

That said, again, Shinn's history and Weber's lack of any basketball experience prior to magically becoming president of the team ALONE should tell who is likely wrong/right in this.

Yeah, I'm not disagreeing with you about Weber/Shinn, I just think you're taking as gospel the words of someone who has an economic interest in spinning the story otherwise. Agents aren't exactly known as angels either.

Honestly, I hope they do. It either exposes Woj as a bum reporter (idk about the agent that's his job), or it exposes the Hornets as real bum businessmen. Maybe that would be enough to get Stern to lean on Shinn to GTFO. A settlement (99.999999% chance of happening in event of actual lawsuit) means positively nothing fwiw.

Are you reading the tweets people are posting here? He's not just re-posting what the agent said, he's throwing his own jabs in as well. In the event that it turns out something is wrong with Head, that's a pretty glaring lack of impartiality on his part.

I vehemently disagree with you on that, but at the end of the day (as I'm sure you'll agree) the bottom line is that the Hornets come out looking bad almost no matter what.

I just find it funny people are giving Weber/Shinn any credibility here. To the knowledge of almost everyone, Luther Head has had no injury issues currently and yet magically, right after Bower is released, Head fails his physical when there is absolutely no history of an injury being an issue.
I hope they sue the hell out of the Hornets and win (assuming its true), and frick the team over so bad that the NBA forces out Shinn and his retarded family and friends from wasting NOLA money and time.
I am to the point that I want the Hornets to stay in NOLA and be successful, but I will likely not give a crap while those 3 clowns (Shinn, Billy Madison, and Weber) are in power.
