They get beat by Neville already every year ....

Nothing changes. Still don't have enough players to compete in 4A. Hell, sterlington has more depth. Their feeder schools are toast.

I meant above 2A. They want to move up to 2A and fully expect to. They were not sure how it was going to go last time the reclassified. They were not hoping to move up then. I think they were one of the largest 1 A schools at last time they reclassified.

I am sure the likes of PBS, Uhigh, SCC, De La Salle, TC and sTm among others would be ok with that...

they and ND could build a nice rivalry pretty quick though

I would be surprised if Lakeshore is not in 5A.

It's a numbers game.

Ouachita has been sitting around 1,200 - 1,250 for years since the late 90's.

The 5A / 4A cutoff has been right around there too.

Ouachita's numbers have gone down over the years as people have moved to Sterlington and a number of years ago when Richwood re-opened.

Only moving up one to 2A. Article in The Advertiser this morning broke some of the moves down.

Hopefully we get start to get some synergy from being in the same charter network as Karr

I like what the new coach is doing so far

forfeiting those two wins could exclude from playoffs..

Evangel are moving to 4A.

But they will not play for the 4A state championships. They will play for the Division 2 state championship.

I heard North Vermilion will be moving up to 4-A. That will be brutal for my Patriots.

Looks like it’s gonna be U High vs ECA for the Div 2 title next year.
