I give Walker the edge over Barry because Herschel was the UGA offense. oSu had Hart Lee and Gundy. UGA didn't have much of anything other than Walker, Belue wasn't as good as Gundy.

The only correct answer is Herschel Walker. There's a reason he's considered maybe the best cfb player of all time and Sanders isn't.

Until Timmy came around and smashed little Hershey's records, and did it against UGA

He did it in 4 years while Herschel did it in 3, and bowl records weren't counted then either so Herschel has 3 more games that essentially don't count. Tims a great player, but he's no Hershel.

AND Herschel played in the SEC while Sanders played w Okie Lite against sub par competition

The 10 team SEC of 1980-1982 was not the SEC we have today.

OK, I don't think I've done that many two-handed pullups my whole life.

Vince Dooley announced the week before UGAs opener at Tennessee that Herschel was not ready to play in the SEC yet. With UGA down 15-0, Walker started the second half scored 2 tds and Dawgs won 16-15. That must have been a helluva halftime talk by Dooley.

BTW Bo Jackson is the greatest College RB I've ever seen.

I had to think for a second who you meant because Timmy is not a RB

Tebow played in more games and scoring is way up today from what it was in 1980.

If Walker had stayed for his senior year, he would be the all time rushing leader, by a good margin most likely.

Sorry Lith. I gotta disagree. BO was in a different type offense. Walker was mainly By himself. BUT I would rate BO as the greatest athlete of all time.

You're right, because he can run & throw it as well.

I'm just giving you a hard time. We all know Tim is the greatest college fb player of all-time, but since this thread is asking between the RB careers of HW and Barry, then I guess I gotta go with HW.....even though Barry was the greatest RB of all-time and superior to Herschel, Bo, Emmitt, JB, Walter, etc etc
