The pac 12 south is the worst conference in college football.

I’ve never understood the hate Herm gets. Being a head coach in the nfl isn’t easy. A lot more factors than just coaching ability go into it at the nfl level. Just ask Saban and Spurrier.

In 3 years he will have a team of "his guys".
He's going to compete for championships.

He's pretty average and a walking meme, so it was an underwhelming hire by ASU. But I have no idea why people think he's some sort of Hue Jackson level coach and that ASU was going to go winless or something.

He had been out of coaching for 10 years and had been away from the college game for nearly 30. I realize the conference sucks but the program he was hired to coach was pretty mediocre by the conference's standards last year. The fact that he is able to walk into a college program for grins like that and not only the hold the line but improve it in his first year is remarkable.

They were 7/6 last year and shoulda been better.

He has a senior qb. Arguably the best receiver in the nation. One transfer starting linemen.

And they were 6-3 in conference. 2nd in the south. If they win out they match that record. lol

Graham woulda done about the same.

He’s a leader of men. Will be able to recruit and hire good coaches. I was also a bit perplexed at the reaction to his hiring. It was way overboard. I assume it was mostly low IQ message board groupthink..

4-0 vs cream puff ooc

2-6 in conference gets a team bowl eligible, so is it really that great of an accomplishment?
