The Liberty argument is by far the most hilariously stupid argument the Bammers put forth

1 game.

Your point? Clemson would destroy the A&M team you beat.

quote:

FSU 27 Miami 20 at Doak Campbell That's 5 loss Miami. Why it's almost like rival games are the hardest.

You mean the Miami team that beat 5-loss A&M by double digits that you scraped by beating by 6?

FSU 24 Florida 15 That's 5-7 Florida. Another rival game, another close game.

You mean the UF team that beat UTk that you struggled with and FSU won by double digits against with their back up QB?

Every argument you make, there is a counter that FSU is better in

Like when Bama actually LOST a game and FSU did not. Got ya

If being undefeated is the only thing that matters in CFB. Why is Liberty 13th?

No, I don't think Liberty should be ranked higher. I'm not even advocating that.

However, if being undefeated is an "absolute" rule then why are they ranked so low?

Zero people think that’s the only thing that matters dumbass

It’s a hell of a mark for a P5 team that cruised to a conference championship though

A dominant FSU team in the great ACC? More Rant mythology.

If FSU was Clemson they’d be in.

Hell they’d probably be the #2 seed

Ok. If that is the case, then pitch why FSU should be #4 and don't say "because they are undefeated".

2014 Ohio State lost to a below average Virginia tech team by 14 went on and kept winning getting better each week. By the end of the year were playing their best ball of the year and won a natty .yeah they lost to vt but you think at the end of the year it would win against OSU, no I think not. Teams get better and gel that's what your supposed to do . Bama's two weaknesses got fixed over the course of the season . O-line got better and milroe started taking his check downs and running more . I don't think Texas would beat bama again. As far as Auburn game you people keep talking about. Auburn saves every bullet for bama and Georgia every year . They should have beat Georgia this year they controlled most of the game and only lost cause brock was their only mismatch they couldn't guard. The only reason Auburn lost to new mexico state is they were looking ahead to bama. Didn't take them serious .

Undefeated P5 conference champion

Beat both SEC teams on their schedule

Them being undefeated obviously plays a role, but it’s clearly not the ONLY thing

They got blown out by NM ST. Stop making excuses. Auburn sucked this year and it took a miracle for Bama to win.

Why did Georgia, for 1st time in playoff time, go from 1 to 6? has never happened this late, and no team has gone from 1 in last weekend to out of playoff.

they wanted Bama at all costs, and risked losing the last shred of credibility to take them.

Oh, got it. Well I'm glad that you said being undefeated is just a "part" of it and it isn't absolute. That proves my point.

It's also interesting that you listed "undefeated P5 conference champ" when I asked to proved why they should be #4 while not using that reasoning.

Timing of loss has always been a big deal. I do agree UGA is a top 4 team though. In no order, I think the best four teams are...

- UGA
- Texas
- Bama
- Washington

The PROOF that the selection was a sham is that IF Bama deserves it over FSU because of the INJURY then why the frick did they put FSU OVER Georgia in the final rankings???? The reason is because it’s a sham.

Fsu played only one ACC team all year that had less than 4 losses. That team was the ACC'S #2 team Louisville that loss to the SEC'S #8 team Kentucky.
