Doesn't count because it was off playaction. Non-game manager QBs attempt 35+ passes without the benefit of playaction. Come on, Sabi.

I think I've figured out the criteria for a non-game manager QB: shitty run game, shitty defense, 35+ pass attempts per game. If a QB has the benefit of any of those three, he is a game manager.

ETA: I still find it hilarious that game manager Russell Wilson has more touches (pass attempts + rush attempts) per game than consensus QB#1 Aaron Rodgers.

6. 19/26 287 yards 2TDs; 3 rushes 20 yards vs. Atlanta (Win)
7. 18/24 201 yards 2Tds; 11 rushes 122 yards 1TD vs. Washington (Win)

200/294 (68.03%)
2806 (280.6ypg)
18 TDs
2 INTs
81 rushes
565 yards (56.5ypg)

I'm going to be honest with you, I'm not going to try to decipher that wall of statistics.

even without the running ability he'd be a top quarterback. He moves around well in the pocket. Senses pressure when he cannot see it and has a lightning quick release. He's accurate and has a big arm.

Right now, he's a better quarterback than a lot of quarterbacks including brady, brees and even Rodgers imo

but people look at the yards thrown, TDs thrown, whatever...I'd take him over drew brees in an instant. he has a bigger arm and better accuracy right now, and a much better deep ball

I think Aaron Rodgers is still the best QB in the game, and has been for a while.

Nonetheless, Russell Wilson is incredible.

he's only in his 3rd year, he's never had receivers that were any good.

His rookie year 63%, next year 64%, this year 66%

His YPA has been
2012: 7.9
2013: 8.0
2014: 7.0 (and will undoubtedly go up)

2012: 100.00
2013: 101.2
2014: 99.7 (and will undoubtedly go up)

He's a third year quarterback with a super bowl ring, a career completion percentage of 64%, a career rating of 100.00, and a career YPA of 7.9...

GAME MANAGER...he's such a game manager that if they redid the 2012 draft, the redskins would give up the same stash of picks so they could take Wilson in the same spot they took RG3

he may be, and he looks great. I think McCarthy benefits from having him at QB and he suffers for having McCarthy at HC.

"He's never had good receivers"

Percy Harvin
Zach Miller
Golden Tate

were all good receiving options. They don't need to put up huge numbers to win because its a run first team.

Rodgers' is loaded with weapons, but lets not act as if Wilson is in Jacksonville.

find me another game manager who started his career with a 100.00 qb rating, 64% completion percentage and a 7.9 YPA...

I would love to know

have you seen the seahawks play? percy harvin isn't used beyond bubble screens and jet sweeps. This is his first year with the team as he was injured all of last year

Zach Miller? Stop the press

Golden Tate? You mean the guy everyone thought sucked until Russell Wilson was named the starter and who now plays in Detroit

You love aaron Rodgers so much but his 3rd option in the passing game is better than any receiver on the seahawks roster

2014: 7.0 YPA, 99 rating, 66% completion percentage, 4/1 TD:INT ratio...GAME MANAGER

I never argued he wasn't efficient, but you guys argue nonsense with more nonsense.

Find me a QB that was put into a better situation than Wilson. You can't. That unfortunately takes away a lot of what he's done because he's very good.

Elite is a different story. People didn't even consider Rivers Elite even though he had a 3 year string of top 3 QB play. Then 2 years of bad play due to lack of weapons and no run game because the FO were idiots. Now he actually has weapons and is putting up top 3 numbers, again.

Look at the stats, what team has allowed only 15.9ppg the last 3 years. None.

lol the sign of a great quarterback is producing with very little talent.

Look at Peyton. Marvin Harrison? Reggie Wayne? Wes Welker? Dallas Clark? Jesus, you might as well give him a one-legged alligator with hand deformities.

you seem to think his defense and the ground game positively inflates these numbers that are so worthless and misleading.

7.9 YPA, that's not a stat people use to showcase efficiency. It means he's fricking good. and he's a 3rd year player. Have fun arguing such a ludicrous position for the next decade. I'm sure there are still people out there who are still claiming tom brady is a game manager.

as to your question...do you really want to look at rookie qbs who landed in better situations? But I know you're talking about his defense sooooooo...have fun with this one.
