By my estimation, we need 2 of the power 5 conferences to cannibalize themselves to 2 losses - likely the PAC-12 and Big-12.

If LSU does manage to win out the big question becomes whether 11-2 SEC Champ LSU jumps 12-1 two time defending National Champ GA. (If both end up 11-2 I'd think LSU jumps them with the recent H2H.) It's hard to see the SEC getting left out entirely after the dominance of the last twenty years. It's possible but unlikely.

so what are the crap teams we're getting in this NHL playoff? When you need 8-10 teams to lose badly in front of, that's not a playoff we want...you know, we kinda want the best teams, not everyone to be mediocre.
People who just want in, no matter their teams bonafides or worthiness (just to have a shot! Get in and win!) will see how much they loathe a 12-16 team playoff and the new meaningless College Basketball style regular-season.
The fact that you're posting wishlist elimination games, means you still care about the regular season...and every game matters...for now, before expansion.

I think an 11-1 Michigan with only PSU as a win could get passed by a 2 loss SEC conference champ.
An 11-1 OSU has the road win @ND and the PSU win and 1 less loss.
