Thibs cannot flat out coach.

But seriously though, I think Thibs has officially passed Pops as the best coach in the league.

He failed to take 2 #1 seeded teams to the Finals. I'll give him a pass on the 2nd one, but the 1st one......slammed in 5

I do think that there are two types of coaches. The type that makes bad teams good, and the type that makes good teams great.

Phil Jackson could never get these Bulls this far, but he can take any good team to a championship. Thibs reminds me Stan Van Gundy. He gets everything out of team, which can be dangerous. It makes expectations very high.

Yeah, he lost to LBJ twice, so pathetic. Look is what he does with limited personnel. Not just this season, but their record in the regular season without DRose last year was also very very good.

I just think Pops is more accomplished. You can't look at the personnel Pops has and Thibs has and not say Thibs has done a better coaching job this season.

This is a good point. Thibs has never had a really great roster, just one great player. But when his roster is depleted, he gets every drop out of his players.

Who exactly are you trying to convince.
The masterplan is in full effect. Bulls in 6, with DRose conjuring the ghost of Willis Reed.

Fluke or not, just take a look at the scorboard. And it aint 37-37 either.
Its always fun to watch fans emulate their teams. In this case all the fail followed closely by the whining.

Really? The Heat were 41-2 over the last 100 days prior to tonight, and Lebron was out for one of those losses. I think Heat 4-1 is probably the most likely outcome, with Heat 4-2 a close second

What he said.

This will be blown out of proportion. They win by 20 in Game 2, and win both in Chicago, closing it out in Miami.

maybe not by 20 in game 2, but definitely double digits...and yes they do win the series in 5

Heat looked a little disinterested last night. They kind of did that last year but turned it on during games. Last night it never really happened. Wonder if they were satisfied winning last year and kind of are lazy right now. They should win this series but Chicago is one of the few teams who will play hard down 20 or up 20

As of now, I give the bulls a 25% chance to win the series. They play well at home, and the Heat have to win at least 1 there now.

Anything can happen in one game, esp after that long layoff the Heat had

Go frick yourself. Because the announcers starting to make these same excuses at halftime. Bringing up the layoff. Dude, give me a break. The heat had the easiest first round matchup against the Bucks using their little 3 headed dream team. The bulls did not have their superstar in Rose, did not have their second string point guard in Hinrich...did not have a starting small forward, and the backup played all 48 minutes.

Maybe the Heat are just little bitches. What was your excuse when the bulls beat them to end the streak? Too long of a layover at the airport and Bosh ate too many cinnabuns?
