No one outside of Louisiana even knows what ULL is . I live in Houston and tell my buddies there's a college in Lafayette and it's named ULL and the reaction I get is , " Lafayette LA has a university ? ".
Seriously , no one gives a shite about ULL or knows about it . They know of TULANE , and LSU.
Not shaming the school , I'm from Lafayette and went to LSU . But , it would be laughable to consider ULL the " University of Louisiana " . It's certainly not considered a flagship school by most .

Exactly..I don't get why it matters to people on this board so much. They are definitely more concerned with it than anyone I know in Lafayette

And everyone that I say UL to, knows what I'm talking about. It's pretty much what everyone here refers to it as, and has referred to it as for the last 10+ years.
