Have any of you caught a HR or Foul Ball on the fly at a MLB game?

I went to Astros/Yankees in Minute Maid a few weeks ago and we sat on the left field foul line right next to the crawford boxes. A fly ball was hit and I saw it off the bat heading right at us.
In the instant of seeing it hit and realizing I had a chance to catch it the first thought that came into my mind was this is going to hurt my hand like a MFer but I dont want to look like a bitch on SportsCenter dropping it or something. So I prepared myself and as the ball got right on us I realized it was going to land about four rows up behind us.
It was sort of weird because I wanted to catch it but I was sort of relieved I didnt have to face a bruised or broken hand
anybody here caught one on the fly?

I snagged a foul ball grounder off the rain tarp at PNC. I just reached my hand out as I leaned over the tarp and it stuck. The sparse crowd applauded and my drunk self took a bow.
Not a fly ball but I impressed myself.

CSB time.
went to pittsburgh many moons ago and caught a foul ball from Warren Morris (playing for the pirates at the time). Still cant believe the odds of a LSU family catching a foul ball from one of LSU legends. This was at the old three rivers stadium too which was also cool.

A friend of mine caught a foul ball off of a bounce off of a kids face.
Kids dad told my friend his son didn’t deserve the ball and told him to give it to a young girl lmao.

Yes, but it wasn't a pop fly, just a line drive that one hopped from the field into the stands down the 1B side. It wasn't hit that hard, but it was a catch it with my hand or face type of ball.

lsu-ou from 2020 in minute maid, an ou guy hits a homer into the crawford boxes and it drilled my chair. saw it coming from 200 feet away and casually got up and got the hell out of the way. gave it to the little lsu boy behind me

caught a BP homer on the fly in left center at Tampa Bay back when i was 17. no glove.
missed a line drive down the first base line when i was about 12 in Kansas City. I did all the hard work in stopping this screaming liner with my bare hands, it falls in front of me and the jackass 40 year old man sitting two seats over picks it up and gets all excited about getting a foul ball. I'd still like to kick that guy in the nuts. To make matters worst, someone from the stadium medical staff came bring me a bag of ice, even though no one said to do this. I aggravatingly told her "i don't want ice, i want the ball"

caught a foul ball in San Deigo years back when they were playing the Phillies. Jimmy Rollins was the one who hit it. Still have it since i was like 11 at the time and i thought i was the coolest dude ever

Never at any level of baseball game. Given how many baseball games I've attended, one would think I should have based on the law of averages. Only time I was close was Michael Jordan hit a line drive against the Memphis Chicks that hit off the wall behind the seats down the right field line about 10 feet above my head when I was ~10 years old.

Astrodome 45 years ago , dad sent me to concession stand for 2 nacho orders . Walking back to seats and Jose Cruz hits foul ball , hits me in the chest and nachos went everywhere . I was a kid and the old dude felt sorry for me and gave me the ball .

Yep. 2016 at an Astros game.. I caught one with my head. I was texting and taking selfies and I got smoked in the head pretty bad. The doctors said I would have memory loss, but I’m not experiencing that. I think That Nuss should definitely start over Daniel’s for LSU, he seems to have the most balance skill set of the 3 QBs

I just missed this one. Wasn't a big deal though.

Had one hit to my seat in the Astrodome once when I was 14 or 15. First row of the orange seats in LF, Derek Bell hit it, had my hands up ready but then 2 or 3 behind me reached over... bounced off one of their hands and fell behind the fence. Dude felt pretty bad about it after. That's the closest I have come off the bat, but had several tossed to me as a kid in the dome.

Caught a foul off the bat of Brian McCann in Kansas City in 2017. I was 4 or 5 rows up from the Astros dugout and snagged it. Cool moment, got a case for it and it sits with the rest of my memorabilia.

Probably been to 200 Astros games over 50 years, still have never had a ball hit really close to me. Anyone else have this kind of luck?

Nope. Aside from the story above, had a foul pop land about 20 seats to my left at a AA last night. Was ready for a bounce that didn't come my way.
