he wanted out of that weak organization. Remember Steve nash said harden was the alpha and adult in the room, it certainly wasn’t KD. The nets were OK with leaving their playoff hopes in the hands of the mayor of NYC. You see where that for them. First round L. Nets have a losing record without harden when KD and irivng both play over the last two years.

Now we're blaming officials?
He may depend on getting calls more than any other player in the league. For eight years as a Rocket, he averaged over 10 points from the free throw line every game. That's got to be up there with just about anyone else ever. If players were allowed to defend the way they did when the game was great, he'd be an a good player in the league, but not a 10 time all star.

He did that to your “beloved” Rockets as well.

Speaking of, what do you hope the Rockets do in year 3 of the rebuild?

He did everything he could for HOU. outplayed lebron AD KD Steph, etc in playoff series. Only to have Russ and CP not hold up their end of the deal.

As for his shooting the refs missed a few obvious calls that would made that 5/10 with 25 or so points. But you didn’t watch bc you wouldn’t have even brought that up.

Confirmed, Harden is the worst leader in NBA history.

Can't ever get the most and the best out of his Robins.

There is missed calls every game. I never blame the refs for the result of the game. It is intellectual dishonesty to say 5-13 inefficient Derp when there were multiple clear missed fouls that the announcers harped on and showed the replays. If only one of those gets called he is 5-12 with a 65 TS if all 3 FTs go in. And there was more than just one. You always gotta add as much context as possible. When you are the Point guard only shooting 13 fga a game one bad call like that can swing the TS From just average to truly elite.

Harden has a winning record in the playoffs.

Cp has a losing record in the playoffs, and it is even worse when he is the best player and leader.

Bc he was 3-2 as a Robin. So actually about 4 series below .500 as the best player on the team.

Why are you telling me that? This thread isn't about Chris Paul, and I haven't mentioned Chris Paul.

Weird take, Boom.

Because it is always fun to point out how much more of a winner he is, than a guy you think is a winner.

It's just deflection so you don't have to talk about the loooooooooong list, as Zach Lowe often points out, of Harden shrinking when it matters most.

Ah yea the cherry picked “when it matter most”

Every playoff game “matters most” at the time it is played. And we know who has won more in the playoffs.

1 of my favorite lines is someone mentioning the playoff game that James Harden shot 2 for 11, and you have to ask which one because he's done it 3 times.

And went to the free throw line 20 times. 9 missed shots and 20 free throws. Not a bad game at all when you don’t cherry pick.

Let’s assume 7 of those fouls took away made baskets.probably conservative That becomes 9-18.

You just walked right into a prime example of the cherry picking.

Outplayed Bron and AD for the series even with a 2-11 20 free throw game. Tells you how much better he was that them in the other games. Funny how only that game “matters most” and none of the other games where he was the clear best player on the court.
