Has the NFL expressed any fear of backlash?

It seems to me that this time, the pandering has finally struck a bit of a chord. I'm irritated with professional sports in a way I haven't really felt before, and I wonder if the mood in any NFL back office is like "My God, what have we done?"

Do you think that in the more conservative team offices, that this has some executives a little freaked out? Do you think anyone has Goodell's ear and is saying "You have to get control of this before you completely frick everything up past the point of coming back..."?

Until they start seeing seats empty, tv numbers drop, etc., then I don’t think they’re worried. People who are mad at the NFL will actually have to stop consuming the product.

I’m beyond ready for the backlash to all the pandering.

Tell these people to get fricked and worry about their daily lives and try and actually take some self accountability instead of every fricking thing in the world not being their fault and what more they need to be given for things to be fair

I don’t think they have to be overly conservative...just realize that the majority of their fan base isn’t in a race to out woke one another.

If they even play the national anthem anymore they’re dumb. Letting these fools use it as a political soapbox is only pissing off their fan base. And now placating them even more will not help. They should be working hard to make the nfl ONLY about football, not politics, race, personal agendas. But I doubt they’ve figured that out yet.

They obviously don’t care until you hit them in the pockets.

They’re in NY. They’re out of touch with 95% of their fan base.

Not even a little bit. And they are already going to see empty seats this year, so that won’t be noticeable if some people were actually planning on boycotting. And if less people are in the stands, I expect the tv ratings to go up.

NFL could care less. All of the billionaire owners have fleeced the taxpayers of billions and into long term contracts for the "privilege" of supporting multimillionaires and billionaires.

They should have told him this years ago, before he started running the league into the ground.

I was mostly inferring the divisiveness, black national anthem, Drew Brees shaming, Kaepernick worship, etc. The Redskins thing is just part of the combined response.

There he is gracing us with his intellect. You actually seem the most unhinged about all of this.
