it is not debateable when you look at his business success that he has a high business acumen because of the people he has surrounded himself with. So maybe he can’t spell or speak right but those aren’t nearly as important to someone like him as choosing the right business partners. Which he seems to have done very well.

I would guess he draws on that experience to help him negotiate. Also, side note the guy went from selling jerseys out the back of his car go being one of the best sports agents in the world. Are you kidding, that is amazing

I have an easy time believing a guy that was hustling jerseys out of the trunk of his car is a master negotiator.

Without this, Rich Paul is still selling T-shirts.

That was most certainly luck and not some stroke of genius.

Well I don't think anyone has ever accused you of being open-minded.

Go into an interview at an investment firm and tell them you sold jerseys out of the trunk of your car. See if they're impressed and hire you.

Rich Paul met lebron james in high school and lebron hired him based on their friendship from that time.

Not really a merit hire. Nor can we really know what rich Paul would be without lebron.

I don't care if he's good at his job or if he isn't, I just don't like Klutch

Yeah I never said he sold a lot of jerseys.

quote:

In 2002, he met LeBron James at the Akron–Canton Airport, where James was impressed by Paul's authentic Warren Moon throwback jersey. The two exchanged contact information, and soon Paul had sold James a Magic Johnson Lakers jersey and a Joe Namath Rams uniform.

After graduating high school, Paul was buying throwback jerseys from Atlanta and selling them out of his trunk in Cleveland.

I thought they were childhood friends or something. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else from Lebron's posse

Not gonna lie that's the epitome of the American dream. I like the Rich Paul story despite the AD fiasco (I like where my Pels are headed because of it anyway)

It sounds like he’s pretty innovative but based off his client list one would assume he has significant leverage in negotiations.
