what's up with that?

i like how the narrative on brees manning and brady is that rule changes led to 5,000 yard seasons and etc.

maybe they were just three of the all-timers at the position?

only luck is ready right now to take over the torch

Brees the first two series looked like 09 Brees. After that it was current Brees. He's still good, it's just not his level of good.

What's your point?

He hasn't regressed.

Really? He had a good game against a shite team. Wilson looks way more poised and ready. That Denver defense is no joke and was after him all day. He looks calm, cool, and collected and does what he needs to do to win.

Brees and Brady both have piece meal offensive lines. Brady's may be worse. It's almost a joke that these guys can't get some better protection up front.

Joe Morgan when healthy and Cooks can def be a deep threat hes just almost too fast Brees cant get in front of him in stride

While true, I'd like to see what he'd so somewhere like Atlanta where the running game and defense suck.

Lynch makes a big difference in that team.

Luck's had a good season period. Not just one game.

I would say:
Luck
Manning
Ryan
Rivers
Brees

through 3 games.

The REAL question is......

Why is Aaron Rodgers playing so poorly?

Has he peaked already?

He looks average to below average so far this season.

I hear this but haven't seen it tbh. Just because he's fast doesn't make him a deep threat. He is averaging ab 9 yards per catch. Without a doubt he's a possession receiver. The one big play he's had was on a deep cross...not really what I'm thinking of when talking plays downfield.

I blame myself for Brees having less stats. I bought him in an auction league as the first time i have ever attempted to get an elite QB. Sorry Saints fans. my bad.

Green Bay has had one of the worst O-line in the NFL for years. They are currently one of the worst in sacks allowed and they don't have a strong running game.

Rodgers has always had a knock on him for taking too many sacks.

He has Stills/Morgan as deep threats.

They're just relying more on the run game and efficient passes down the seam.

He does take a lot of sacks, but it's also in part why his passing efficiency numbers are so good, he'll take the sack rather than throw an ill advised pass and get picked. And with this shite tastic o line, he'll be taking a lot of sacks for the foreseeable future

Is he really playing poorly? Through 3 games, his numbers are:

5 TDs
1 INTs
697 YDs
63% COMP
95 RATING

ETA: Those # over 16 games, come out to:

27 TDs
5 INTs
3700 YDS

His 20.0 YPC last year disagree with this.

ETA: Morgan had 379 yards on 10 catches in 2012.
