Big Beard MAN!!! WOOOOOOOO, I still expect a sub .500 season from the Rockets until we add another go-to guy, but Harden was impressive tonight.

Harden is no doubt a young Ginobli. Can pretty much do it all on offense.

Harden and Al Farouq Aminu should battle for the MVP this season.

It's one game and against Detroit so can't take too much away.

However a great start for Haden, and better than I expected. Hopefully he is the player to build around and lead the team into the future.

Great debut. He won't be this good all year but it gives me hope. Maybe, maybe he'll show enough for another Top 25 guy will want to come join him.

They're going to get somebody next year.

Josh Smith, Pau gasol are probably some of the players on the rockets bucket list.

Is it possible that both teams did okay in the trade?

Are the Rockets better this week than they were last week? Yes. So how could anybody say the Rockets didn't make a good trade? And the Thunder got some possible pieces for the future w Lamb and the picks. (KMart is a dog and especially with the change in officiating, his game is shite. Can't defend. The Thunder took him as a one year stopgap).

Also, Harden may not be a #1. So what? He's the first building block to hopefully more. You have to start somewhere and this is Morey's start. Morey didn't say he's the final piece and the Rockets are done. NO one is saying he's Lebron. But he's a damn good player that fits well within the Rockets offensive scheme. If they get another max type player, great. If not, at least Morey and the Rockets tried. It's better than sucking arse for a decade and just hoping one of your picks work out. And oh by the way, if one does become an All-Star. Guess what? You need two more to win. This trade just expedited the Rockets plans.
