My buddy told me a story about Ryan Mallett when he was in Fayetteville. He went to a local memorabilia store, stuck some cleats on the counter and asked the guy working there, "do you know who I am". Obviously he did and he said yeah. So Mallett just signs them and walks out without saying anything else.
That's so baller

I may have to watch that episode just to see this. I remember hearing about it when it happened, but I didn't know we'd have video of the conversation. Sounds golden.

That's better than "Who's got a scantron for your boy Ryan Mallett?"

Still my favorite Mallet story:

I once saw Ryan Mallett walk barefoot from the visiting locker room through the bowels of Tiger Stadium to do interviews. A+ decision maker.

Meh, he hasn't been in trouble since after rehab. He's made significant improvements to actually be in the conversation as a legitimate backup QB for the Browns too. I liked the old Manziel for all his antics, but the new one is much better.

You are impressed with his ability to come in second to Josh McCown after being a first round pick in the last draft?
