We're not passing the SEC champs, even if they have one loss, so I'll give them one of the slots.

So say Texas doesn't go undefeated, but instead they lose to Texas A&M.

Then say Cincy loses one of their last 3 games.

I'm interested to see if undefeated Boise or TCU would stay in front of GT in the BCS, especially since they probably won't in the computers.

I'm not saying they'd win the game (reading comprehension on this site is sorely lacking), I'm asking if they have a chance to make the game.

BCS standings as of today with computer score in parenthesis:

1. Florida (1)
2. Alabama (2)
3. Texas (5)
4. TCU (4)
5. Cincinnati (3)
6. Boise State (6)
7. Georgia Tech (7)

Now remember, GT gets Duke, Georgia, and the ACCG to increase the computer score. Even with UGA having a shitty year, they'll still increase GT's computer score as will Clemson again.

You think the polls put an undefeated midmajor in over a 1-loss conference champ?

If Miami wins out the computer scores are going to be close, I'd imagine.

Should be a high scoring game. Our Pass D is terrible and Duke has a great passing O which does not look good for us.

-TCU undefeated
-TCU also beat Clemson, guessing my more points than GA Tech did
-TCU has as many wins over top 25 as GTech has

I was wondering about this earlier.

I have a hard time believing that a non BCS team will get slotted in the NCG. Especially when there will be a lot of debate about which team should get in. Hell, it'd be easier just get keep them both out. Ultimately, their schedules are never good enough.

No one can say the Big 12 is better than the ACC this season. GT has beaten three ranked teams and UT has beaten two. GT could potentially play another ranked team in the ACC CG (Clemson, if they win out with their easy schedule).

Texas is Texas, though. They have their rep and preseason ranking going for them.

Um, they definitely have a shot to make it. If Oregon can lose to Stanford, and Iowa to NORTHWESTERN, then Cincy could easily lose to WVU or Pitt. I think GT jumps TCU and Boise if they win out the season and the ACC championship.

I'd love to see GT in the NCG, but our defense absolutely blows.

They looked like shite on ESPN in their loss and ever since then, no one can take them seriously. It's a shame.

I told you guys that Paul Johnson was going to build a powerhouse there.

BCS this year.

What are you guys expecting next with O'Dwyer leaving? Nesbitt stays and that will be his 3rd year. Does the QB position get even better with Shaw being healthy? That give Johnson another element.

Has he said he's leaving yet? I know at the beginning of the season they said he'd be a projected 1st rounder, but he's a junior this season. Hopefully he stays for his senior year.
