He is.

As Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports revealed, the Raiders may be on the verge of entertaining trade offers for their highly-paid quarterback as early as 2019.

Ultimately, what this means for quarterback Derek Carr, Oakland’s second-round pick in 2014, remains to be seen, though it’s fair to say a growing number of GMs suspect Gruden may entertain offers for him as well in 2019, especially if Gruden’s in position to draft his pick of quarterbacks in the upcoming draft.

Trading him is the right play because it resets the clock you have on having a quarterback on the rookie scale contract

Well that makes sense. Gruden must've spent the last decade convincing himself he was Jimmy Johnson.

I can't see this turning out badly. I mean, I bet the Raiders fan want Chris Simms 2.0.

BTW, let's see some of his other favorite QB prospects:

I never claimed Case Keenum to be good.

Denver had to have a healthy punter. Can’t keep 2 on roster.

Pretty sure you said you liked the signing at the time.

Especially when one ranks 25th in the league and is having the worst year of his career by a large margin. Easy to cut. Still funny though.

More than signing Kirk Cousins to a huge contract and having to make cap room by cutting other players, sure.

Imagine having a bad year when you’re injured.

Broncos fans were enthusiastic about Keenum because he’s a guy who can work the pocket. Opposite of Siemian. Broncos fans however didn’t think they’d win the division.

You’ve flopped so bad on your Raiders. First saying Mack won’t be traded, saying Cooper is actually elite and it’s all the OC’s fault, Carr is elite, etc etc this is Raiders fans everywhere though.

I find it funny that the raiders are a total REBUILD after potentially having the MVP two years ago, being picked to be AFC contenders for the foreseeable future. Now they’re a dumpster fire. Send them picks for tricks

I had the Raiders at 8-8 or 9-7 along with most people.

This is made up, never said anything on Cooper.

Carr is elite

He was, may still be at some point. Hard to fathom his first 3 years in the NFL were a fluke, but maybe they were.

You're trolling?
