I had read from some of the Raiders writers that the cracker comment was not true as well but didn't really believe it.

Well then what did the letter of the fine say exactly? Since that's what they're were fining him for.

There's no way he should be allowed to play for the Patriots

I agree with this in the very very narrow sense that if he purposely engaged in this bizarre behavior with the premeditated intent of having his contract voided and being released, then no he shouldn’t play. That’s not living up to the spirit of the contract he signed and sets a really bad precedent. The league should have legal recourse to punish anyone who engages in activity to intentionally void their contract for the sole purpose of signing with another team.

I'm not sure how you could prove it, but this long con makes AB one of the most retarded genius masterminds of all time.

I don’t know if you could prove it either. Things certainly worked out in his favor though by getting his contract voided, being released and signing with the Patriots. If they can prove it though, they should definitely drop the hammer.

The guy who did the video for AB was just on Le Batard. Says they sent it to him before and gruden said. “Wow, I love it”.

Also says the fight and calling the gm a cracker was made up.

So basically AB never did anything wrong? Yeah, okay. The Gruden video part may be true, but I wouldn't doubt the Mayock fight at all.

Sounds like AB doesn't want to sound like the bad guy. Why would the Raiders get cut him if he had not behaved inappropriately?

The Patriots offered a 1st to the Steelers when AB was there and the Steelers told them to frick off. So they took a 3rd and a 5th from the raiders for AB. Tinfoil hat

The guy was quoting AB when he said it didn’t happen. Don’t think he was there.

I think This is what AB wanted. He saw how bad that team was

Lessons learned from the AB saga.

1) Just take the best offer a team is giving you, if a player is on the market unless he's in the same division because he'll just spazz his way over there anyway.

2) Don't take on a high priced headcase unless you're honest to goodness built to compete immediately. Gruden isn't getting nowhere near enough shite for agreeing to take on Antonio Brown when he had to know the 2019 Raiders were a 6 or 7 win team even with him.

I wouldn’t doubt that

He just wanted anything to get AB on the field

This is 100% true but Gruden has always seemed like such a doofus I can see him genuinely thinking the video was badass even if he wasn’t desperate to get AB on the field
