If they truly cared about player safety, they'd come down harder on dirty plays like this. It was a split second decision during the course of a play, he purposely tried to hit and injure White after the play was over.

Mass native and LSU grad here, hit was atrocious. Well deserved suspension.

1 game is not enough. That was one of the worst cheap shots I have ever seen. Should be a minimum of 2 games and a huge fine.

It was an intentional attempt to injure TW. He should be fined and dismissed for the rest of the season. No place for that type of behavior in any sport, at any level, especially at the professional level.

A ONE game suspension is complete horse shite. He gave White a concussion. The league claims they are doing everything possible to make the game safer, with the primary emphasis on avoiding concussions. It's hard enough trying to prevent concussion causing hits in the course of a game. But here, White is laying on the ground, after the play, and Gronkowski purposely blind sides him causing a concussion. To show how serious the league is about preventing a concussion they give Gronkowski an entire ONE game suspension? This is far worse than the split-second collisions they are trying to get out of the game. Hell, Sean Payton was suspended FOR A YEAR due to a "bounty program" that caused no provable injuries (just speculation).
Gronkowski should be suspended for the rest of the regular season and one playoff game. Otherwise, the NFL can go sell their bullshite about taking efforts to prevent concussions somewhere else

what he did, in an actual game, i think is more deserving of suspension than whatever the reason they suspended Zeke for.
I know it's a heat of the moment play, and he has no history of doing something like this, but 1 game is not enough for that crap.
