how the frick have people already forgotten about Newton, Tebow & Young?
All similar players, all just as dominant.
I don't mind Manziel but I don't get why he's talked about like he's some sort of generational phenomenon.

No. Barry is at another level. Next closest I can think of is Cam Newton.

Manziel has been totally careless with the ball this year.
And today was terrible against a bad defense.
I think his scrambling ability hypnotizes some people. He's really good but as someone pointed out, give me Cam anyway. Even tebow.

Cam's one season was great, but that's all he had. Manziel much like Tebow was great for more than one year.
Same for VY. He was great towards the end of the 2004 season and all of the 2005 season. All showed more than Newton.
Now if you want to go with best single season, Newton can be in the discussion, but he's still not hands down the best.

Johnny is a great player so I'm not gonna knock him. The issue with cam is that we only got to see him one year so it's easy to gloss over it. Tebow was great but he was also surrounded with a ton of talent. Plus his pro career has really hurt his legacy.

He missed a ton of passes tonight that great QBs don't miss. He has his moments but has lacked consistency this year
