Agree, but that place is just one extremely fricked up cesspool of ignorance. Representative of the worst of us, but not all of us and better ignored than indulged.

Self accountability is the only answer for racism. Honestly, think about it.

All of the other groups/races that you mentioned came to America on their own accord. They were not sold as property & then forced into servitude, and then largely rejected by society for many years after being freed. If you want to take a real, honest look at racial differences in America, start there.

Gregg Popovich is asked about Black History Month and the efforts the league makes to promote it. Starts by pointing out the obvious importance in a league as diverse as the NBA. Then: “More importantly, we live in a racist country that hasn’t figured it out yet.”

LOL, what an old cuck

The poliboard was always right leaning but used to be a lot better a couple of years ago. It's basically been destroyed by the rednecks of the SEC rant. Most of it is identity politics reminiscent of the Left, just for the other side.

Right. Because Jews were literally being murdered.

I think slavery was abhorrent but it was also ended 150 years ago. None of these individuals was ever enslaved.

Simple fact is the common African American was better off in the 1960s. The family units were intact. People were getting educated. Now, it unfortunately headed in the opposite direction.

I’ve seen it in the south. I’ve seen it when I’ve lived in Chicago and Cleveland.

They just can’t fight through the hardships other groups have.

And? All immigrants come to America in search of a better life.

Has anyone ever claimed otherwise? That's a strawman. But racism towards blacks didn't suddenly end after the Emancipation.

Crack happened. Literally undid years of progress in black communities.

So, what, then? You think it's hereditary?

An old, rich, Jew coaching a non-racially diverse team with artificial limits placed on wages is trying to lecture the rest of America on race relations.

Listen - we both feel strongly and will disagree. No sense in going back and forth.

Simple fact is African Americans continue to struggle. This country is the most prosperous in the world. Hopefully we can continue to create economic opportunities for them and push them away from government subsidies.

I think we simply this argument by introducing race. We should focus on poverty and try to create opportunities for all races.

At the same time we need to create an environment of accountability.

Absolutely. One can understand that concept without burying one's head in the sand, and also recognize that the institutionalized racism of the past literally no longer exists, and steps taken to remedy it are unprecedented in terms of scale.

You can understand all of these concepts, and weigh them all without sweeping generalizations, or the good feeling of crusading for justice. That would imply a nuanced point of view, which requires perspective on history and human nature... perspective that divisive shitheads like Pop don't have.
