Jeter will always be one of favorite Yankees, one of the best Yankees, and the first to 3,000 hits but to say that he ranks above RUTH, GEHRIG, DIMAGGIO, and MANTLE, as the greatest YANKEE of all time is incorrect. That being said, he'll have his number retired and will have a MONUMENT, not just a plaque.
