Concerning your run in football, McNeese will be landing an extremely athletic D-1 QB. Returning lots of starters on a playoff team and with a LEGIT dual threat QB coming in. Pieces are in place to make that same run you guys are expecting.
you'll need it from the arse beating yall got last year. That game wasn't even a competition, yet going into the last week of football, yall were ranked higher.

The SLC, in general, needs to be an automatic 2-bid league from this point forward. They're been on par with cusa & the sunbelt overall during the last few seasons. Both cusa and the sunbelt are normally 2-bid conferences.

Did Ladner take the MBB job or did they give to someone else? I have never heard.

Yes, I believe ladner got the job. Since then, they've had 2 transfers. I know one was a guard from ole miss.

Ole miss guard, southern miss guard, and mid major forward. Lost the foreigner kid to somewheres else. If they can land 2 more bigs they will compete. However, will start the season with only a handful of wins.

One of your bigs got dunked on three times last night by a shorter 11th grader.
The pg got whooped too.

Still trying to push that story heh? Repeat it a few more times.

Lucky I didn't take video. They were ringing for an 11th grade AAU team (gee that'll make em better huh)

I know SLU is known as a basketball school so that has to be embarrassing for such a top notch program.
Hopefully our football and baseball teams can make up for this unfortunate situation in a scrimmage

For the most part, I agree. And this season, the SLC will have Southeastern and most likely Sam Houston playing in a regional. The only thing is that the sun belt has been so weak this season that our rpi has been more negatively affected playing some of our conference bretheren. Unless, UTA wins the championship today, we will be the only team playing in a regional.
So, for this to happen, these particular conferences need to show a little more consistency in success with just more than one team.

I thought Sam Houston St finished 1st?
I think Sam Houston won the regular season, and Southeastern won the conference tournament.

Most conferences should be two bid conferences, except for the SWAC, which should be a no bid conference. About 5 years ago, I would have said the Southland could have been a three bid conference, but currently, I don't think that is the case. When Texas State, UTA, and some other bigger baseball schools moved up and were replaced with smaller private schools, my thought of the Southland being a three bid conference is now laughable. But I think you are correct that it is a two bid conference.
