Agree 100%. Don't trade D-Mo. Howard is injury prone and otherwise no rim defender. I hate to give up on T Jones, buthe seems like the likely piece. Hopefully Morey can get him to agree to do a longer term deal to stay.

Beverly can go back to the 6th man role he was so good at last year.

he is talking only about DMo's post-up moves. He is lethal at that one aspect of his game.

Let me be more clear. D-Mo has a Top 5 NBA post move skillset. I don't think he has the scorer's mentality yet.

Dragic, I'm told, prefers Lakers and other situations to Houston, which means Rockets would be risking lots to surrender assets for him now

They have no assets to give back. Maybe they decide to part with Deng?

The fact that Stein is so certain means one of two things.

1. He's completely wrong.
2. The Rockets are going hard after someone else.

What about Woj?

The heat are mentioned in every trade rumor, I'd always like to know what they're giving up, they have nothing.

What if the Lakers offered to remove the protection on this year's pick? How much more would they have to throw in?

I have no doubt that the Rockets could be dangerous quickly with Dragic. If Houston made a playoff run, I think they could convince him to stay. I really want this.

Don't know why the Lakers would do that. They need to be in full blown rebuild mode. By the time they're competitive they'll be paying for Dragic's decline.

New York is interesting because they got a bunch of assets for that Shumpert/JR deal and could send Calderon to PHX if PHX wants to keep doing that 800 PG's thing.

Well.. To rebuild a team you have to have a good young player to build around.

He could max out with the Lakers this summer and kobes deal will be done. That and a good coaching hire would help the rebuilding process
