Good News For Atlanta Fans: Teams that won the first 2 games of a best-of-7 LCS are 28-3

And two of those 2-0 series comebacks happened in 1985: 1985 Cardinals over Dodgers and 1985 Royals over Blue Jays. The only team to to come back from a 0-2 deficit in the last 34 years? It's a pretty obvious answer, the 2004 Red Sox.

28-3 you say? Not looking good for Atlanta.

They let the only nationally relevant sports team in the state die decades ago (Georgia Tech).

We can all agree this is a different post season -
There are no off days between games 2 and 3, or between 5 and 6. There is no opportunity to re-set your rotation or really rest your bullpen. You're playing everyday.
Good for the Braves for getting up 2-0, but these Dodgers are stout all the way around.
Games 4 and 5 will likely require the Braves to pitch one to 2 innings at a time, which is not a recipe for success.
But... the Dodgers now have to win 4 of the next 5 games, which they are capable of doing but... our Braves are stout as well.

History is on our side, but seven consecutive games and a depleted starting rotation makes this a tough series for the Braves.
Atlanta will need to come out on top of a home run derby type game.
Regardless, the pressure is all on the Dodgers at this point.
Ozuna has been a difference maker for the mental make up of this team. They’re playing relaxed and having fun. Freddie and Ozzie are on fire.

Well we've already blown 2-0 leads in a series before ('96 WS) so we should be good.

Why you gotta be like this?

So that’s interesting that the only team to come back in the last 34 years is from New England.
