They need to get rid of Golic Jr. He already has his own show. No one wants to listen to him again.

Which is why he already has his own show. So is Sarah Spain on at night now? At least the awful all women’s show on Saturday afternoon is gone now.

I agree. I can’t listen to Patrick either. The sidekick fools offer nothing. They aren’t funny. I have no idea why they are still on. If you are going to try to integrate comedy into sports you damn well better be funny without going overboard with it. Some of the CBS Sports Radio guys are good.

The whole of MSB was cheering when Greenie left but it was listenable and decent background noise during early drives.

I do agree with that. Seton’s fake laugh is too much. And Pauli is such a douche. I like Fritz. But it’s still the best sports radio I’m aware of.
I get reminded how great it is every time they have a guest host. It’s reminds me how talented Dan is to have a legitimate take on just about all sports stories. Instead of someone that can only talk basketball or about Boston sports.

What’s the board’s thoughts on Jim Rome? Was watching tv over Mardi Gras break and noticed he’s simulcast on CBS Sports Network

Jim Rome still has the best national sports radio show AINEC. Good sports takes on a diversity of sports. Doesn't get stuck in the rut of talking only the NFL or NBA topic of the day covering everything from pro to college, all the major sports to boxing, MMA, to horse racing. All the sports and the callers are hilarious. The show inside the show is the best part.

I haven’t listened to Rome in a long time. I really liked him on TV with Rome Is Burning. But his dry sarcasm/phony act on radio is annoying. I wish his TV show on ESPN was still on.

Cutting edge? I've been listening to his show for over 15 years. If anything he has dialed it back a ton because of his corporate relationships. Still, he has the best show out there, keeps things fresh, and will go places where other hosts won't go.
