I've even seen guys hit the ball left of the water, and end up with a chip (from the rough) onto the green for their second

Well then any hole with water on both sides and your basically fricked

I hit my 3 hybrid on nearly every hole other than par 3s. I need a lesson.

Yea I have a friend who does it sometimes, and I saw a group of dudes that all 4 of them did it. The greens only like 260-270 if you hit it left, so you can easily get right up to the left of it. The problem is if you miss left or right your fricked.

Looks like you are bringing some cows or fish into play over there
I aim iit left of the trap (little trees) with driver or down middle with 3 wood and usually turns out ok

When I used to slice regularly, 16 at LSU wasn't much fun either

That entire 3 hole finish is tough really

I'm more likely to hit a ball onto Nicholson than land it on the fairway on 16.

The approach shot on 18 is ridiculous... at least for me.

Played one Sat morning before the Florida game. Talk about a fun hole with tailgaters. Was like playing down Bourbon St. during Mardi Gras

Yea 16 & 17 have ruined more than a few of my rounds. Most of the course is so easy. And really on the back 9 it's OK to slice your drives, then on 16 and 17 if you slice you are screwed (or just OB on 16)

16 & 18, if you are on the fairway aren't to tough. on 17 it doesn't matter where you are, you ain't getting on the green in 2

17 at LSU

Long, small green, slopes down on all sides.
Not to mention it seems like everywhere around the green is hard as a rock and if you miss the green right, you can almost count on it taking two shots to get on the green from under that enormous tree with the branches that nearly hang to the ground.

#2 has also always given me fits. It's always an in-between range for me.

#11 can play a little long with the wind in your face, too.

Has anybody ever been driving down Nicholson and had a golf ball hit their car? It seems like with the overall poor golfing at the LSU course, and all the people who hit the ball onto Nicholson off of #16 tee(I've done it 9436298426894269856943 times) it shouldn't be that uncommon that a ball would hit a car

I've driven 6 several times but never tried to drive 7.

It's actually not that much further, just 10-15 yards I think

7 is easier to reach than 6 IMO. It looks deceiving but I think it is actually closer. It is just hard aiming right at it when you OB directly to the left, but it is definitely reachable.
