ACC: 4-4 (1-0)
American: 4-3 (0-1)
Big 12: 3-0
Big 10: 7-1 (1-0)
CUSA: 4-3
MAC: 2-3
MWC: 2-5
Pac-12: 1-0
SEC: 2-6 (2-2)
Sun Belt: 3-6 (0-1)
Independent: 0-1

playoff records in brackets...

non-playoff SEC teams are 0-4 in bowls.

SEC was favored in 5 of their 6 losses with only LSU being the underdog. Both remaining SEC teams are favored in their bowls with Texas a 4.5 favorite over Michigan and Moo State a 2.5 point favorite over Wake Forest.

Shows you just how little value you can place in the outcome of these bowl games

Love how bowl games mean nothing now

But there was 15 threads here and on the SEC rant when UGA beat FSU in a bowl game where FSU had 17 starters out saying it proved the committee was right putting Bama in

College football play is down across the board ... with that said the SEC is living on reputation that it no longer can play up to this conference is bad outside of maybe 2 -3 teams pair that with the fact that no one wants to play in bowls anymore and this is what you get. The Big 10 is better and they seem to care more period.

So you admit the Florida State starters felt bowl games didn't matter.

Interesting take.

If the bowl game mattered the Florida State players shouldn't have opted out.

What’s interesting about it?

It seems when an SEC team wins a bowl game it matters and proves everything, when they lose it just means bowl games mean nothing

If it mattered, then Florida State would've suited up.

It didn't, so they didn't.

They had a perfect opportunity to prove the committee wrong and they sat on the sidelines in street clothes.

Not that hard to comprehend.

Then why all the threads here and on the SEC rant saying how much it proved?

Yes just like that and unless you are blind or an unmitigated homer who refuses to believe what your eyes are seeing its been fairly obvious for 2 years now.

What have you seen the last 3 years that would make you think the SEC is better than the BIG 10?

Florida is a dumpster fire

LSU is mid as hell

Bama is no longer scaring anybody

It 100% is, the play in the SEC might be down more than others but the game is being played at a below par level around the country. I dont belive there are any elite teams and about a handful of good teams. Transfer Portal has taken any long term development and continuity of teams and flushed it down the toilet.

So 2 years ago it was obvious that the Big 10 was better for 1 year?
