This is horrible. That is two calls a ref has missed standing 3 feet from the play. Could you imagine if they didn't have replay?

This game is horribly officiated. But Fox was pissed at Del Rio because he told him to throw the flag on that 12 men on the field. That burned their last challenge of the game.

Pay the real refs what they want... but fine them for making egregiously bad calls. Problem solved.

There won't ever be a worse call than the "fumble" they tried to call on Vick yesterday when he threw it 10 yards forward and it was spiraling

Agreed. The first week was going to non-eventful because people had low expectations, players were testing refs on what they could get away with and fans were happy to get season underway.
NFL thought thry had refs by the collar. Not now. It will just get worst.I think the phrase "chop off nose to spie your face" is appropriate.
If forced to give into refs, NFL will likely start a development program for up and comers that they can go to in case of strike.
