My only beef with playoffs is that you will have shite like yesterday in the NFL where the rivalry week means nothing anymore as teams will play their scrubs.
I don't like having a set amount of teams. I'm in favor of a plus 1 or qualification based playoffs if necessary.

Sorry. You guys brought it up. It was a stupid point that needed refutation right away. This game merely will reinforce already held beliefs regardless of the outcome. People tend to make data fit their preconceived notions.

would never happen because of seeding. If there were 6-8 teams, one loss could be catastrophic so tanking it wouldn't be an option.

It's definitely a possibility. Years like 2007 or even 2003 make tanking a possibility.
