80% of the rest of the country would.
Look at the gun laws in most states...
What do gun laws have to do with employer set guidelines with regard to bringing a gun to work?
If it were legal to strap a rocket launcher to one's back and cruise down the streets, the vast majority of employers would not be so keen on the idea.

Simple. If Arenas were not charged with a felony, I assure you that the NBA would be looking at this differently.

Stern let a player who choked his coach back in the league. He let a player who attacked a fan back in the league.
That was also a few years ago. Since then the NBA is following the lead of the NFL and trying to weed out some of the general thuggery of the league...
Just saying things could be different now... Hell if this would have happened 5 yrs ago, I bet Arenas would be back on the floor by the allstar break max...

Delonte West's gun charges are multiple misdemeanors, even though they seem much worse IMO, and he still hasn't been suspended

I thought you were responding to the post regarding the other 80% of the country - not Arenas. Maybe I misunderstood your post.

No Arenas is a dumbass goofball. He said he brought guns to Verizon because he didnt want his daughter near them. The real story is a gambling debt between him and crit. They started talking about dueling and Arenas brought guns to the locker room and layed them infront of Crit's locker telling him to choose one. I want the Wiz to keep him and fir Ernie. He was averaging 25 and 6 in the recent weeks leading up to the incident. The Wiz left him out in the cold. Hopefully Ted Leonsis will buy the team and repair the relationahip and fire Ernie Grunfeld in the process. Also hopefully Jamison and Butler are traded . Dream scenario Wiz get John Wall pair him with Arenas Haywood Blatche and Mike Miller.

Arenas got suspended early because he basically pissed on Sterns face with that act in Philly. Arenas got the felony charge because he had a prior and basically admitted guilt. They cant find Crits gun lol.

most NBA players probably stay strapped so they feel safe walking to and fro their whips.

The fine print, is Wizards can't void Arenas contract IF he serves jail OUTSIDE NBA Season, If serves jail time during nba season, Wizards can void the contract.

It seems like the NBA season goes on forever so they might have a shot after all..
