-1 year suspension to continue to rehab his injuries
-he's going to get his contract bought out for probably $30-50M
-THEN he's going to be a free agent and get a new contract

all for serving 1-3 months (my guess) in prison for bringing UNLOADED guns to his locker

But you're not black, and David Stern isn't your boss.

most NBA players probably stay strapped so they feel safe walking to and fro their cars.

I thought I heard that if he serves jail time this year, the Wizards could void his contract.

Lake Chuck >>>>District of Columbia in regards to the 2nd Amendment.

they can't void his contract b/c he's being suspended by the league. teams can't take action against a player if the NBA does. also what arenas did likely isn't bad enough to have his contract voided

good. the wizards shouldn't be rewarded for signing a guy who has questionable character and is plagued by injuries by being able to get in the game for this FA class.

I did hear that but ESPN also said that if he serves jail time this year then it could change things....

No smart GM will give him more than the MLE for his new contract.

Black hole, not a winner, character issues, undersized... no team with Gilbert Arenas as a core player will ever win a championship.

He definitely has a Starbury effect on any team he plays for... He is NOT a #1 option for a championship team but that is what he will demand to be on whatever team he plays for. He is an entertaining basketball player, but not a guy who will help u win a championship...

Regardless. Arenas did what was instinctive.....regardless of being unloaded or loaded.....

Thug. Life.

If I wanted to get banned, I'd post what I really think.
