Holy shite, what a ninth inning, game 7, World Series, and postseason. If you did not find that exciting, then I am not sure you like sports.

Yeah...5 innings of guys hacking at high Cheese, popping up, and hitting squibbers for easy outs is really exciting.

Genuinely sad for KC.

I know a lot of people up there, and they were all so were like little kids they were so happy. Most have lived in KC their whole lives.

Not many people grow up in San Fran.

A guy I know who lives in SF posted this last night

quote:

Dear SF douche brigade!!!

People hitting balls with bats do not give you express permission to be ASSHOLIC IDIOTS!!! Stop... I'm just trying to get a burger and beer and go the hell home!!!!

Thanks,

The guy who couldn't give two Shits about your crazy cultish concern for people who don't even know your name swinging wood at balls...

Ps: Go (to hell) Giants (drunk fans)!

If the players played naked SF would probably care more.

A 1-0 baseball game is exciting to me. There's nothing more exciting than a pitchers duel.

Hey we were setting ourselves up all day, on the local sports radio shows all I heard was that stat, told my buds you gotta beat the BUM and that's what it came down to. Game had a weird feel to it after Salvy got beaned and even more so after Panik's kick arse double play, still had a chance if a couple of guys could have jumped on the BUM.

I wonder what percentage of the city of San Francisco watched that game. It's as far from a sports town as you can get and they've won 3 World Series in the past 5 years. Pittsburg pirates fans are beside themselves right now.

It is pretty obvious you have never been to San Fran. Best baseball city in the NL next to St. Louis. Games there are insane.

While i wanted to see KC win it this year for the obvious reasons, but with that said I am also glad to see SF win it. Only reason being is Tim Hudson, the man deserves a ring after the career he has had.

I would pay $5000 cash right now to fly back on the charter with Panda, Bumgarner, and Peavy.

Seriously somebody knows somebody. Come on

Not really. Yeah they cheer for World Series games but that place is corporate as frick and full of transplants who hate athletes and athletic competition. Houston is the same way in many ways but this place was crazy in 2005.

It was KC's for the taking

two evenly matched teams squaring off.
that was fun, but i know a lot of true blue Royals fans that are very upset right now.

For some reason I have a feeling the Royals will be back in the playoffs.....if they can keep the team together. Good learning experience for a young team.

I've been...missed bonds 600th homer by 2 games. It's nothing special. Wrigley was better as was Busch. Any group of fans s great in the playoffs, but regular season passion and people "from" there is what makes the difference. San Fran just doesn't have the native population of a lot of other baseball towns.
