Giannis: I'm not leaving. Some see a wall and go in another direction. I plow through it.

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is slated to be a free agent after the 2020-21 season, could hold the league hostage this offseason if he were to decide a new destination is in order.

“It’s not happening. That’s not happening,” Antetokounmpo told Yahoo Sports after the Bucks were eliminated in five games in the second round by the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.

“Some see a wall and go in [another direction]. I plow through it. We just have to get better as a team, individually and get right back at it next season.”

“If winning a championship was easy, everyone would have one,” Antetokounmpo told Yahoo Sports. “We lost. Everyone saw that we lost. It’s disappointing, but what are we going to do? We’re going to keep working. I’ve got confidence in my teammates.”

But he can prove me and everyone wrong this offseason by signing that super max.

Sounds good but we'll see after free agency ends.

Yeah, we'll see. I don't know what the Bucks can do to get better. No free agents are coming to Milwaukee.

This sounds oh-so-familiar. If he leaves, that quote follows him for the rest of his career. Maybe these guys saw what Durant went through in GS and will decide to go in a different direction.

Believe Dallas is well positioned to make a run at Giannis from a cap standpoint. Pretty rare in the NBA to be able to sign a long term deal with a team with such a young nucleus in Luka and KP. Would think that's attractive to several FA's

And they are a sneaky old team. Not matching Brogdon's offer really hurt them.

Planting the seeds so when they do worse next year he can say I wanted to stay but ownership didn't do their part.
