All he does is troll and/or spam emojis.
And he’s been around awhile so despite acting like a 14 year old, he’s probably 50+.

The WNBA leads both soccer leagues in average U.S. television viewership. National WNBA broadcasts on ESPN networks average 1.3 million viewers. In comparison, the English Premier League averages 535,000 viewers across NBC and USA Network, and MLS averages approximately 460,000 to 711,000 viewers per match on linear and streaming platforms Hmmmmmm
Now do WC ratings. Hint the US vs Paraguay match averaged 27.5M viewers. I’m not even a soccer fan and haven’t watched a single match but understand the WC is different than MLS or Americans giving a damn about euro league.

I know you’re trolling but when the US draws 27.5M viewers it’s makes you look like an idiot to suggest women’s basketball is more popular when nearly 20 times more people watch the US in the WC, which was the topic of discussion when you made that idiotic statement.

Some dude, a week ago, was trying to tell me soccer had arrived in the US already. I didn't look up the numbers, but losing to the WNBA is bad.

Apparently you can’t comprehend the difference between mls and the World Cup.

And apparently women's basketball has more interest in this country than soccer

For starters, it's not a direct comparison when you have two leagues spreading viewership numbers. Any foreign women's sports league that rivals the Premier League?
Further, MLS has WNBA teams beaten in:
-attendance (almost double, 11k vs. 21k)
-average franchise value ($500M vs. $740M)
-total market cap ($23B vs. $5.5B of the WNBA)
-and profitability (does a single WNBA team turn a profit?)
Furthererererest, MLS teams are doing it organically vs. the heavily subsidized WNBA. People usually have more respect for the guy that can stand on his own 2 feet
They're long past the WNBA as far as a realized product and have a good shot at becoming a true top 5 soccer league in the next decade or two. Imo the WNBA has always had a big media hype train trying really hard to make them a thing. MLS is a much more organic league

I know you’re trolling, but:
Also, the fact the wnba is on espn while soccer is on peacock/nbc sports.
I typed this for anybody genuinely curious.

The Premier League is a major TV draw in the U.S. NBC Sports averages approximately 510,000 viewers per match window.
For marquee matchups, millions tune in—the record-setting Manchester City vs. Arsenal game peaked at over 2.6 million viewers across NBC and Peacock.
TV & Streaming Breakdown
TV: Traditional television broadcasts across NBC, USA Network, and Telemundo pull in the largest immediate audiences, often reaching over 1 million for top-six clashes.
Streaming: All 380 matches are streamed on NBC Sports and the Peacock app. Streaming minutes have surged past 4 billion per season, with Peacock drawing up to 1.15 million peak viewers for exclusive matches.

Wrong as usual..
quote:
No, the WNBA is not more popular than soccer in the U.S. Soccer has surged to become the third most popular sport in America, with an estimated 10% of Americans identifying it as their favorite sport, while the WNBA remains a smaller niche property by overall viewership and revenue.

It's a bubble, a Caitlin Clark sized bubble. This is like the USWNT in 2018, barely drawing more viewers than the worst Men's team in 30 years & spiking the ball anyways.
