I personally have always said you should have to win your conference to make the playoff (and BCS before that) however as we’ve seen the committee does not. At worst those teams would have 1 loss, we know UGA and UM will be in TCU probably doesn’t get the he benefit of the doubt but they have beaten everyone in the conference.

USC is lock for 4 if they win if they don’t it should be Ohio St.

If UGA, Michigan, TCU all win and USC loses in conference championship games, It’s going to be Bama at 4.

Committee will never put in a two loss team if there are 1 loss teams available. We have precedence on this: Penn State 2016 and Alabama 2017.

What happens if USC loses Friday night? Do those 3 teams purposely lose Saturday to avoid playing #4 Ohio St in a semi final?

I don't think TCU is a lock unless USC loses also. The committee has looked for every opportunity to shite on them all year.

You should NEVER be penalized for playing a conference championship game when the benefactor is on the couch while you’re playing

I'd think they'd want to play OSU if their performance yesterday is any indication

I agree with this. Even if they can't say it, this year, Georgia, TTUN, TCU, and USC should all be in no matter what happens next weekend.

TCU is not a lock if they lose imo. OSU may get the final spot

USC has to win, as they should.

Yahoo Sports says Georgia is 100% in, Michigan 95%, and TCU 60%, even with losses.

OSU would have plenty of motivation and is the only CFP eligible team that can match UGA in talent. And imagine Michigan losing a playoff or title game to their hated rival after already beating them.
Also if it's #1 UGA vs #4 USC the crowd will probably be at least 80% UGA fans in the Peach Bowl. It would be much closer to 50/50 if they play OSU though.

TCU is a no-go. They're biting the dust v K-State in the Big 12 CG.

Thinking they put a 2 loss Bama in over a 1 loss Ohio State is crazy person talk.

That’s certainly possible and it would be absolutely outrageous. They shouldn’t even be in consideration Their only ranked win is Texas who has 4 loses, Ohio St has 2 higher ranked wins in Penn St and Notre Dame and Tennessee has the same record as Bama and beat them.

Agreed. It would be hard to even get excited for the playoff if TCU loses in the Big 12 title game and they put in a two loss Bama that didn’t make the SEC title game. What’ll be worse is they’ll say some stupid shite like “Alabama beat a powerful Texas team on the road which is a great win. *5 minutes later* TCU struggled to beat Texas so we think that gives Alabama the edge.”
