Not questioning Kendrick but why didn't Dabo and Clemson not wait and see to take him back?
Seems weird to part ways like this if he was clean

Unless I’m mistaken he was already off the team at Clemson prior to getting arrested.

He will have to sit out a year till his grades come up. He’s never completed a full semester of school with a passing gpa.

I’ve recently re-watched two full games of Kendrick. Both of them in the playoffs: 2019 season Natty vs LSU and 2020 season Sugar Bowl vs OSU.
Arguably, one of the worst CBs I’ve ever seen based solely on those two games. Looked like UDFA material.
In all fairness though, he did face multiple future 1st round WRs in both of those games and apparently in the other 37 games I didn’t watch or didn’t focus on him in the ones I casually watched, he earned all-ACC honors.

That is a fair assessment. In his other 21 games he has only given up 250 yards and 1 td. He did have a much better game vs OSU in 2019 too.
