That said, SCAR physically dominated UCONN.

Because the refs let them.

Call fouls fairly against SoCar and they’re down 3 players in the second period most games.

A male coaching woman’s basketball.

Enough said.

Does no one else find it as weird as I do?

The whole issue was about her not shaking his hand again when the game started. But he did the same thing by not going through and shaking the hands of the winners. Just walked off by himself to the locker room. He didn’t have any answers to South Carolina and came off as a sore loser. The whole after 3rd quarter interview and Sara Strong ripping her Jersey was really a bad look on the team. The older you get the less patience you have and Geno showed that last night. Wouldn’t be surprised if he announces his retirement.

They shook hand but he is being bitchy because he had to wait 3 minutes for her to come over and shake hands.

quote:

"For 41 years I've been coaching and, I don't know, 25 Final Fours. The protocol is before the game you meet at half court. Anybody see that before? Two coaches meet at half court and they shake hands, correct? ... I waited there for like three minutes. So it is what it is."

Then he was bitchy about the foul calls, how Stanley talked to the refs at one point, and the ripping of the jersey. Which if South Carolina did rip the jersey a little bit, the UCONN player took it upon her self to completely rip it off. He did say he had no problem with the physicality of the game

quote:

he lamented the lack of fouls against South Carolina and said Staley "rants and raves" at the officials and "calls the referees some names you don't want to hear." UConn finished with 17 fouls, compared with eight against South Carolina.

quote:

"I just want to make sure there's not a double standard," Auriemma said of Staley's sideline behavior. "I'm of the opinion that if I ever talk to an official like that, I would get tossed. So I just want to make sure there's not a double standard, that some people are allowed to talk to officials like that and other people are not. That's it.

quote:

Despite pointing out the foul discrepancy and the end-of-quarter comments, Auriemma said he didn't have any issue with the physicality of the game. He said physicality goes both ways and that the Huskies "weren't aggressive enough on the offensive end to match."

Oh, he went there. I guess it takes some ego for a Progressive liberal to complain about the political world he helped create.

There's video and pictures of them shaking hands pregame so he changed his complaint to having to wait too long for her to come over to shake. Just an embarrassing meltdown by him.

Yes they shook hands when the teams came out, but he’s referring/pissed about a ceremonial handshake before tip off. As we can see he waited for her, but she stayed in team huddle.

Now my question? Did the Texas/ UCLA have a ceremonial handshake before tip?

Theres where we find out who was wrong or right

They shook hands before the game. There is video. How many fricking times does Geno need to shake hands? Dude is an unhinged loser

Geno cites tradition while whining about waiting 3 minutes at midcourt for the pregame handshake, but leaves after the game without shaking anyone's hand.

What a hypocritic beeotch.

Texas/UCLA game was way more physical, it's why they scored like 40 pts a piece. UCONN wasn't prepared for a top level team's athleticism and physicality because they hadn't played a top level team in 4 months.

all correct except for the loser part. All of the negative things that people hate about him contribute to him being the GOAT. He's definitely not a loser.
