Pat Summit was a better WBB coach than Geno.

Well you have no data to stand on to make such a claim.

Nobody in MBB has anything even remotely close to the talent gap he has compared to the field and that's due to there not being enough talent in WBB to spread around. Not to mention he isn't coaching against as good of coaches in the first place.

So basically what you're saying is - he won an unprecedented amount of championships, but he did so with women so that somehow makes the feat less credible than if he were to do so with men? Sounds pretty sexist if you ask me.

He's interview on the coach cal podcast is worth a listen ... Dude is a great coach and I have no doubts he would be successful on the men's side ...

He would be an excellent men's coach. I'm still holding out hope that the pels hire him but it seems like a pipe dream at this point.

He is far from the greatest basketball coach regardless of gender. He has almost literally no recruiting competition & no on the court competition whatsoever. S.Car. was #2 in the country & U Conn blew them out by 30+ I think on the Cock's home court. When you look at the scores in the playoffs, U Conn is still winning by 30 or more almost every game & that is supposedly against the best teams in the country. He could or could not be a success in the men's game but we will never know because he has no interest in it.
