Oh please...D.J. Banks would be SLU's number four or five at best. Little midget is a possession receiver.

I hope Southeastern kicks their arse, 35-10.

I don't know if they're capable of that but it'd be cool.

Avatar bet goes for as long as it takes the losing team to get their first win of the season.

I seriously want to believe that southeastern has a chance, but there's gotta be a reason that tulane's players are in 1-A and southeastern's aren't. There have gotta be just overall better athletes at tulane and I would expect them to win pretty much based on that.

Although I don't follow either team so I have no clue either way. But can one of y'all convince me how southeastern could possibly even hang with any 1-A team? It just seems unrealistic

I just think it will be competitive. I agree Tulane should win. SLU was on a roll and then just fell apart after a big loss at home and had some injuries as well. I expect them to do better this year, with the injured players coming back and some new faces, like the Lutcher QB. I hope to see him in the wildcat a lot. He was the LA state player of the year, Gavin Webster.

Also have a 4 star recruit WR that transferred from Texas.

Considering they (SLU) hung with Tulane twice before in '05 and '07, with much inferior teams to what they have now, I'd say that alone should be plenty of reason to convince you they'll hang. But they also have better athletes at the skill positions than Tulane does, especially at WR, and I think Tulane will have problems matching up against them. I'm not saying Tulane won't pull it out in a close one, but if Wave fans think they're going to show up and win because they're I-A and SLU is I-AA, they're going to be in for a long night of bitching afterwards.

anyone going have any extras wanting to give away? Ive never been to a Tulane game outside of when LSU went but I kinda figured they would be practically free outside.
