Why are the finals starting on a Wednesday this year?
I believe because of the World Cup. The US is playing a match in primetime on Friday the 12th, which is usually when Game four of the finals takes place. I think they shuffled the calendar around due to that. It’s the first time in over 50 years that there’s no finals game scheduled for a Sunday

Cavs win and James Harden putting out this type of performance was the best possible combo

Incredible performance lifting Jim. He's finally found a team that can carry him when it matters most.

NBA has had a horrible playoffs, especially this 2nd round
Amazon Prime? really?
31 point blowout in a Game 7 by the away team last night.
Two game 6's on Friday where the home team can win the series and they both lose by 21 and 30.
OKC and Knicks demolishing their Round 2 opponent and sweeping with an average margin of victory of 16 and 22.
There have been very few games this playoff season that were worth watching to the end of the game.
As someone who's watched plenty of NBA playoff basketball for the last 25+ years, I've had next to zero interest in watching any of this. I am looking forward to OKC/Spurs and Knicks/Cavs though, but I'll quickly go watch somethign else if it's a 20 point game in the 2nd half, like a NHL game, which are a lot more fun to watch than the shitty product the NBA is becoming.
