No I think 12 teams is probably the right number. You'll never have a legitimate contender get left out with 12. But I just want good matchups. Anymore than 12 and we will have too many blowouts. We're already set for a slate of blowouts next week most likely

Exactly. At least this game has some meaning and the players care. I don’t understand complaining about the playoffs. I always assume it’s old people who can’t handle change.

My only complaint about the playoffs is the committee needs to do everything they can within reason and being fair to avoid rematches.

Were in for a visual treat tonight. I love that Oregon / Nike plan what uniforms they will wear based on their opponents colours

But if those same teams go to bowl games, you’ll have blow outs there. At least with a playoff, there are no opt outs and every team has a legitimate chance at the playoff when the season starts. And we have more fun, meaningful regular season games in November. Just enjoy football and stop trying to fix everything. And I don’t mean “you” I just mean people in general.
