Like I said earlier, this particular case is pretty cut and dry.

Yeah you are frickin stupid. They are bad at o-line and middle linebacker but they have blue chippers all over the field at every other position. Hell Miami has an equally bad O-line but Enos can scheme around it.

Fsu raised $20 million in private donations to fire Taggart.

FSU has talent.

Taggert isn’t a good coach.

Pretty clear you want to be willfully ignorant in this case. Go right ahead.

They need to take Kevin Rumlin from Arizona before he has a breakout season.

There must be someone out there whose agent (probably Sexton) is putting out feelers. By making the decision now, FSU must be trying to get a jump on USC before they inevitably fire Helton.

Urban ain't going to FSU. It's not his bag. It's beneath him.

He's USC or bust... Possibly Tennessee if they fired 2 a days

Yep. One more season would have fixed things.

You joke but I have seen bigger turnarounds. It probably was the right move but football is more about jimmmies and joes than X's and O's. FSU scheme and coaching wasnt wasting good talent, they were fielding the worst o-line in D-1 football with absolutely zero player leadership in the locker room. Even Jimbo wasnt winning with these players and he's proven himself to be more than competent. Win now isn't a realistic approach to football and schools are gonna keeping hiring/firing every 2-3 years until one coach gets lucky and has the right guys. That coach will get 5-6 years before hes fired

Hiring and firing this fast just feels like burning money for no reason and possibly throwing out good coaches.

The recruiting classes right before Taggart took over

There were problems but they shouldn't be this bad. Taggart was a horrific hire who added fuel to the fire. Jimbo quit on the program during. the last 1.5 years but it wasn't completely bare.

The scholars over at the undefeated are blaming this on, you guessed it, racism

Taggart should see if he can get his USF job back. Florida will take Charlie Strong back and boot Grantham's arse.

Which is ironic because one of the reasons they went after Taggart is because they wanted a black HC.

They fired him less than two years in you racist idiot. If they only hired him because he was black then you just as easily say only fired him because he was black.

Both are preposterous, and you are trash.

Fans tend to overrate their talent, especially when things go poorly. College football is full of fools-gold 4-stars (and 3-stars and 2-stars).
Who are they going to get? Bowden Jr from Kentucky? Wake's coach? UCF's coach? Maybe a coordinator from Saban or Swinney? Not many slam dunks.
