Only 19 SOG by caps. Habs finally played great lemaire like defense but our normally great Penalty Killers let us down tonight terribly.

First.... WOOOOOOOO!!!!

Second, what a BS call on Glencross. Apparently, getting checked into the goalie is now interference. I know the Habs get the calls at home, but come on. If that were the rule, every defender would just check opposing players into their goalie. Of course, the Caps responded like you knew they would, by not marking Subban and letting Gallagher screen Holtby completely unmolested. Great kill, guys.

Thirdly, if that was a battle for MVP, you can send the award to DC. Montreal totally dominated that game, but they didn't have Ovechkin.

Finally, WOOOOOOO!!!!

ovie deserves it but it had nothing to do with price playing bad. only 1 even strength goal. our Pk normally strong was terrible. I think we had a couple PP goals as well. Caps had 3.Both goalies did well actually. I'm very pleased with our SOG given up. we keep that up and stay out the box we can have a chance every game.

in other news, former NY Islanders coach Al Arbour is in Hospice Care.

Man won 4 straight cups with the Isles in 1979-80, 1980-81, 1981-82, and 1982-83.

If playoffs started right now this is what we have:

fig rags-goonins....can we hope for a meteor strike???

Habs-Pens- pens dropping fast now

Tampon bay-wings-should be good series

isles-craps-I'll guess the isles do not have enough defense to win this series.

as far as the west, IDGAF.

Ugh, Rag$-Bruins is just such an ugly matchup. I guess the best hope with that is that they kill each other in 7 and the winner leaves all bettered up with so many injuries that it goes down in 5 in the next round.

What an ugly ugly matchup. Thats like this years Sugar Bowl between tOSU and Bama. Kinda hoped that a meteor hit that too. lol

This is Ovies best season yet. It is great to see. That was an awesome game. I still don't think the team has the secondary scoring to win the cup but if they can avoid the Rangers they should make some noise. Trotz has been great for this group.

Rag$ fans are highly delusional. All they do is talk about how long they've been around and yet they only have 4 Cups to show for it. No idea why anyone would brag about that. Especially as an original 6 team.

Yeah well the Habs got revenge on Stepan and Krieder so I don't feel bad. They were the best team in the eastern conference last year and are doing great this year.

Just want to jump in and say that was a great game last night. Highly enjoyable to watch. That PK ripper late in the 3rd was so silly.

For real. Isles had a great run early 80s winning 4 straight.

Hey are you attending the last game at Nassau coliseum?
