I've only been saying center is an issue now for 3-4 months. Pleks ain't getting it done with the first group. Eller gonna Eller and Malhotra does one thing good and that's it.
I will part with Drewiske and draft picks without question if it fills this gaping hole
Top line Center is a must in the offseason. It will strengthen both the top 2 lines.
Max/Center/Chucky
PA/Pleks/Gally
Prust/DD/Smith-Pelly
Bournival/Eller/DLR
We are missing a BIGTIME offensive piece. Don't want to knock DD because he is a hustler but he's a 3rd line guy at best

DD should be 3rd and de la rose 4th for now
DLR has the ability to be a top 6 forward in due time but he is only 19. he will be ok. i see lots of talent.
eller needs to be traded, i don't want him centering anything anymore. Lately he's been on LW.
CMT's sytyle does not attack the net enough. it's a screwed up system. you can play D and O but some of these coaches are oblivious to it. they focus on one or the other.
you forgot Wiese. he is a true 3rd liner. he is having a career year this year, however the fact he is on the 1st line now is a HUGE red flag!

I have been as big a critic as one can be of Dallas this year, but I was hoping they'd at least be competitive. I want hockey to be strong in the south.
That being said, don't feel too bad man, At least you didn't underachieve as badly as the Bruins.
