I bet you watch CNN only as your news source. Also Tik Tok will eventually plateau and become irrelevant, it’s one of the fastest growing because it’s the “new” thing. Generation Z will become bored with it shortly because it’s no longer “new”

What you don't comprehend is ABC/ESPN/TNT, etc don't give a rat's arse how many people in Bangladesh or China are watching. They're not paying hundreds of millions for those viewers that do their advertisers no good. Nor are they shelling out big bucks for dipshits who pirate illegal streams. And there's not a streaming service around that can come close to matching network dollars.
So when your players are standing around watching their 27 luxury and sports cars get repo'd because their revenue streams have dried up at least they can be comforted with the knowledge 300 million ChiComs are fans and a bunch of jobless liberal arts majors in their parents' basement is watching on illegal streams.
...meanwhile, baseball keeps raking in money by the truckloads.
