Sounds like NBA fans are too poor to actually watch the games.

Sure the ratings in Lagos and Zhengzou will make up for it though

Lots of old people in here who don’t understand how sports are consumed these days. Especially by younger kids/adults.

I GUARANTEE there were many, many more eyes watching the nba finals.

Should be able to easily back that up with some ratings then.

lol you're judging nba on domestic tv ratings and I'm telling you how silly that is over and over and over

everyday there's a new tv ratings thread crying about something that does not matter at all to the lg

guess what matter: youtube insta tiktok . intl fans. #1 demo

these are the facts you need to get through your thick skull. nba is owning in these areas

You can say it's silly til you're bleu in the face. What you say means nothing to me

Then how do you explain the following
quote:

TV ratings for the NBA Finals ratings are down 55%. Similarly, daily comment activity during the Finals on r/nba, the internets biggest NBA message board, is down ~45% relative to last year

50% due to people not being conditioned to watching meaningful basketball in the fall, and 50% due to BLACK LIVES MATTER being plastered on the court.

Prove me wrong!

LeBron, basketball dominate U.S. market

It should come as no surprise that LeBron James dominated the U.S. social media landscape by landing in the number four spot in our report. James also trailed only Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of total video views and ranked inside the top ten for total engagements.

Led by James, current and retired NBA players were tied with Cricket as the second-most represented sport behind soccer, claiming 11 of the top 100 most-followed athletes.

like I say.
