Fox Golf is superb

Longer hours, more graphics. The only thing I’m missing is David Fehertys voice.

They've rapidly improved their broadcast. When they first started, it was a complete dumpster fire.

Agree completely. The long hours of coverage, the number of cameras and unique camera angles, the interviews. It's all been great.
Doesn't hurt that Pebble is gorgeous, but Fox is still doing a superb job.

Us Open has always had m h longer coverages beacause the USGA aren't assholes like Augusta and intentionally limit the air time, and 2: you often have US Open played on west coast courses, (Olympia, Pebble, etc.) so the tee times are way later for the bulk of the country and often run well into primetime.
For pure golf lovers, the US Open has always been a great event. No bullshite, no dog and pony show romancing, just badass golf on badass courses, right around Father's Day.

That first US Open on FOX up in Seattle on the concrete course was an all around shite show.

Yeah the Chambers Bay coverage was rough, but it was one of the most memorable tournaments honestly. Fox has come a long way since then.

Joel Klatt has done a good job in his role. If Fox can squeeze him into the broadcast, then CBS needs to find a role for Romo. Their golf coverage is missing something since Feherty went to NBC.

It’s odd seeing Klatt on golf coverage, and I’m not sure his role is necessary, but he’s been solid.
